Why we built it
Everyone knows the loop: "What do you want to do?" — "I don’t mind, you pick." YesNoSpin.app exists to end that loop in ten seconds. It is deliberately not a giant raffle platform or a customizable everything-spinner. It does one thing — settle low-stakes decisions fairly and dramatically — and it does it fast, on any phone, with nothing to install and no account to create.
How the wheel decides
Every standard spin is an exact 50/50 (or an exact equal split across your custom options), drawn with crypto.getRandomValues — the browser’s cryptographic entropy source, the same class of randomness used to generate encryption keys. The winner is locked in before the animation starts; the spinning wheel simply lands on the answer that was already drawn. No streak logic, no memory, no server deciding your fate.
Honest about the one rigged mode
Chaos mode is weighted 60/40 — and it says so, out loud, before you spin. The wheel randomly picks which side gets the edge, so not even the person spinning knows which way it leans. We think a disclosed tilt is fun; an undisclosed one would be lying. That is the whole editorial policy of this site: if the odds are ever not equal, you will be told first.
What the wheel is not for
The wheel is a toy for reversible, low-stakes choices. It is not a substitute for professional advice, and we ask you not to use it for medical, legal, financial, safety, or serious relationship decisions. If a choice will still matter in a year, it deserves more than a spin.
Your questions stay yours
Questions and custom options are processed entirely in your browser. Recent results are stored locally on your device for convenience, and what you ask the wheel is never sent to our servers. Read the full details on our privacy page.
